Who is Raza Aziz? And Why Is He On The Web?

Oh no, yet another guy on cyberspace who thinks he knows it all.  How many blogs are you subscribed to?  How many email lists are you a part of?  How many sites do you have bookmarked?  How many of those are useful and provide good value to you?

I hope a lot of them.  Folks we are living in the information age, where everyone and everyone thinks they are an expert on something or some topic; And rightfully so!  In the past three – five years, I have learned in abundance from the common man so to speak.  Individuals just like you and I who have established their presence online and are pure VALUE to me: they inspire me, they educate me, and they empower me.  Something my $25000.00 education was supposed to do for me.

I am here to do just that: to inspire you if you are looking to be inspired and motivated through personal development; to educate you on topics that I have learned, spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on; and above all to empower you to take action on bringing about the change in your life; And all this ONLY if you want to and if I have your permission.

The Person that I Am:

My Name is Raza Aziz.  I am a 34 year old, living in the beautiful city of Burlington, ON in Canada (just 45 minutes outside Toronto).  I am a dedicated husband and a father to my 13-month old daughter.  These ladies are tied very closely to my heart and without them I would not be who I am today.  I value my friendships online or offline and look to serve my entire human environment whenever an opportunity arises.  That is just part of my DNA, and I cannot get rid of it.

I think helping others has really been a part of me as of an early age.  I may have to credit that part of my life to my mom who single-handedly raised my 2 brothers, my sister and I since the late 90’s.  Even before I decided to establish myself online, I have been a giver; a personality trait that sometimes my wife cannot grasp: she believes that people might take advantage of me.

So let’s start back about 5.5 years ago, when I got married.  My wife and I come from different backgrounds and thank god for that.  We truly compliment each other.  I have learned so much from her.  She was the kind of girl that while going to University, managed to save 60% of her paycheck and lived off 40%.  I, on the other hand, spent it on the car.  But one of the biggest changes in my life came when we decided to buy our fist massive investment.  Our First Home!!!

I was the kind of guy who would think about renting the rest of my life.  Why commit to the biggest loan of our life.  Boy, was I wrong?  We bought our first real estate investment in Canada in 2004.  We picked up another house in 2005 purely by just being at the right place at the right time and a collaborative effort between my wife and I to take advantage of the opportunity.  We did not even have money for this second real estate transaction.  We are no proud owners of 2 real estate investments; one is a cashflow property and the other we live in.

The Entrepreneur in Me:

It was between 2004 and 2005 that I came across a book called Rich Dad Poor Dad.  It is this book that I credit tochanging my mindset and put me on the path that I am on today.  This very mindset has allowed me to take advantage of the opportunities where others have not.  This book changed the way I thought about my financial life.  My view on education, lifestyle, investments, and a passion to establish a passive income through assets was born.  From this point onwards I have been part of many educational programs (both valuable and not so valuable); I have been part of my own mini-ventures (successful and not-so successful); I have been part of a few investments (profitable and not-so profitable) and above all, I have gained immense knowledge through learning and application that does not let me sit around.  I have a need to share, and give back out into the universe.

The Professional in Me:

I have been and currently work for an International company.  I have been at this company for over a decade and currently I work within the Internal Training department of the company.   My responsibilities include training and developing internal staff.  I am also responsible for consulting the different areas of the business and create/implement a training solution based on the needs of the particular business unit.

One of the biggest personal developments for me occurred when I started training sales consultants.  I was never a sales kind of guy and never got along with sales folks.  But I was thrown into this area not necessarily by choice but out of a need and built such a relationship in this particular group that it has taught me valuable lessons for life.  I was a key part of changing our company’s approach on sales and implementing the concept of value-based selling.  This is another term for consultative approach to sales, and attraction marketing.

The Internet Marketer in Me:

In my quest to establish a business one of my areas of passion were to establish an income stream through an Internet Business.  In late 2005, I researched, and educated myself in this area and partnered with many opportunity and eventually managed to set up an online store for men.  I called it “MENtropolis – Shopping for the non-shopper.”  LOL!!!  (One of my friends thought it was a dating service for gay men)

I was able to make a few sales and managed to break even over the course of 3 months and generated a profit over 5 months doing this part-time.  It was one of my first projects and a test run.  I was still looking to learn more and apply myself to attain a bigger profit.  It was during this time that I stumbled upon a local course offering in Toronto, on Forex Trading!

The Trader in Me:

Forex Trading…wow what a journey!  After taking the course in Toronto, I became committed to this avenue of generating an income.  Little did I know that the way I was thinking and approaching this method of making an income was completely wrong.  Although I take complete responsibility of my actions and the choices I make, I think the trainer who was delivering the course had a lot to do with setting up false expectations.  Anyways, after the second day of the course I was dreaming of owning a hockey team with my brother in law.

A rough ride through the jungle of Forex trading education and actual trading finally ended my journey in the late2009.  This is a good thing.  I left my Internet store to completely focus on Forex Trading.  After spending time, money, and a huge amount of effort I am now at a point where I can guide individuals through the Trading courses and recommend a course that is right for them.  I am at a point that I am no longer emotional about my trading.  I am very objective in my trading approach and I have and am willing to layout the path for interested individuals to focus their mind, effort and investment to success in a relatively short period of time.

The Return of the Marketer:

This was a logical step to return to my initial passion after my forex trading had settled down.   Many of my friends asks me if I have left forex trading.  And the answer is NO!  It is continuing but I do not have to exert excess amount of energy now into it.  Now, I am back to focusing on my first passion: My Internet Based Business.

It is during this time that I was introduced to a Network Marketing Company.  I have always believed in the MLM model and the power of it to not only create residual income but also use the leverage concept to grow my business.  I have known of the Network Marketing model since High School, but never had belief in any of the products/services that came with it, until now.

But as much as I believe in the model, I also know that the lifeline of this business is customers and business prospects.  I did not want to start knocking on doors of my family and friends and anyone and everyone that had a pulse.   I had some marketing education and one of the first rule of marketing was to focus efforts on a specific group.  In this quest and a combination of my desire to establish a business online, lead me to realize an amazing business model for Home Businesses.

The Person that I am becoming & how does this relate to YOU

What you see, the voice you hear in my writing is a product of years of development accidental and intentional.  Who I was and what I went through, is valuable to me because it has prepared me for I have become or in the process of becoming.  It has made me valuable to the people I choose to and who allow me to serve them.  Throughout these years I have made an effort to inspire and empower ordinary people like me think about themselves differently; empowered them with enough knowledge to take action;  encouraged them to look beyond their visible limits; and set themselves on the path of financial prosperity through integration of Personal Development and a unique Home Business Model.  When it comes to Income Generation Solutions for Home Businesses, I want you to think of me as your concierge and It would mean a whole lot to me if anything that I say, if a resource I point you to, and consultation that I do with you , puts you on the path of success in your terms.   Remember, your version and definition of success is UNIQUE to you.  Therefore the solution may have to be unique to you as well.

I look forward to our relationship and partnership for years to come.
