That is a no brainer actually. It is because our weather here in Canada is changing and I thought it was too hot. So I cranked up my air-conditioning in the car as I was driving to the event. The blasting cold air did not necessarily have a positive impact on me.
The only thing that kept me attentive through this event was the almost ONE-ON-ONE coaching and advice from one of the millionaires in the Network Marketing Industry. His name is Norbert Orlewicz.
Before I hit the bed with some Extra Strength Tylenols, I thought I would write a bit about my experience at this live event in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
Who is Norbert?
Norbert is a young guy who is one of the co-founders of MLSP (My Lead Systems Pro) and a successful Network Marketer. He is a great down-to-
earth kind of guy: very approachable and completely genuine. There is no sugar coating on anything that he says and he states everything as it is. So meeting him and having almost a one-on-one session with him gave me a sense of direction and the over all focus that I needed for my online lead generation approach. He generally does not do the live workshops but as he was in town visiting family, he made a point to meet up with local MLSP members and see if he can be of any service to them. Thanks Norbert!
As I walked into the hotel, and looked for the sign to this live event, I wondered what it would be like to meet a millionaire and a successful network marketer as I have never met one in person. I turned the corner towards the hall and there he was. From the first handshake to the final “nice to meet you”, Norbert’s personal and no hype approach was all value.
Lessons Learned
Here is a blurb of some of the lessons I learned. Some of them are new and some of them are affirmations on my previous knowledge:
- Successful Network Marketing Business is a combination of online and offline marketing strategies.
- Network Marketing has 2 components to it: “Network” and “Marketing” it is not complete without both elements.
- When networking (online or offline), where is your focus: prospecting or building relationships?
- 3 primary methods of online lead generation: Social, Content, and Paid. These should be combined with your offline strategies as well.
- How do you develop leadership skills and why is it important?
- Twitter Marketing strategy that will allow you to leverage the tool more effectively.
- Be protective of your time and ensure your return on investment is justified.
- There will always be the next best thing online. Do you really need it? Keep your focus.
- Find your voice (your passion). This will not happen overnight. It is a process.
- How to leverage facebook for ultimate success.
I will be posting short articles on each of these topics in the near future, so please take the time to subscribe to my blog. With my fever kicking in and tylenols in my system it will be hard to write everything that I want to and be able to display the productive lessons that I learned at this event.
I also had the pleasure of meeting some great fellow marketers who shared a similar vision, offered a lot of valuable tips, and some, who were there to learn, also taught me a few lessons. Erwin, Shevon, Kurt, Kim, Leslie, Louis “Mobster” guy, Christine, Janice, Sophia, Nick, Angelo…Great to meet you all and thanks for guiding me in my journey to the Internet Marketing World.
