Have you ever stopped and thought about what is really going on in the world? I used to have an attitude that I simply need to be interested what is going on in my life and my family’s life. Little did I know what a difference I can make when I get out of my own self and take actions to impacting my family’s life through helping others. It is an odd concept I know. But I choose to think outside the box and empower others to not only live for greatness but challenge your status quo whatever that may be.
Following is the email I received from my friends at Magnetic Sponsoring Inc. Although it is speaking about the sneaking inflation and hyper-inflation but if you read in between the lines, it lays out in straight words why it is more than necessary to live and think outside the box; for our sake, for our families’ sake, for our children’s sake and for the sake of a possible future where you and I live a powerful and a meaningful life. We are living, right NOW, at this very moment, in a world of opportunity.
This gets to me,
Saturday, I went to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes with my girlfriend and it cost me thirty bucks for two tickets and a dinky little bag of popcorn.
Yesterday, I bought KFC for dinner and it cost me $40 for a bucket and fries.
The day before I bought a tin of coffee at the grocery store and it cost me $9.95.
(We’re talking Maxwell House not some fancy imported coffee.)McDonald’s now has new chicken wraps available for the “low price” of $7!
Now you tell me why it’s so expensive these days!?
Why it now costs close to one hundred dollars a day to live like we would have lived on fifty bucks a week in what we now refer to as the “good old days”.
I truly do feel for anybody who is living on less than $60,000 a year. When I was living on my own in my late teens I would live off of one twenty dollar bill a month.
My monthly income was about five hundred a month. Half went to rent and bills. Half was socked away under my mattress every month. I was happy.
Six years later I was working two jobs I despised to make ends meet and I couldn’t even afford to go to the grocery store to buy food for six months of that… I lived off of handouts and charity…
Six years ago if you were unemployed it wasn’t such a big deal.
There were jobs to be had and there were plenty of opportunities in a land that was figuratively overflowing with milk and honey.
Today, you can be employed, work overtime, and still starve at the same time.
I tell you something ISN’T right about the world today.
You know it and I know it.
The government is printing bills non-stop and they sure as hell not announcing it on the daily news to the working men and women of the country.
They are SILENTLY TAXING you without your permission or your vote.
Meanwhile they are preparing to use military force within the country if for some reason everything collapses in a rash of riots, fires, and all out violence.
Wow, wonder what could cause that?
HINT: Raising the debt ceiling. Printing more bills. Silently taxing millions of Americans without their permission or vote through hyper-inflation.
But as much as it looks like a bunch of doom and gloom…
There are some men and women, great leaders with panoramic vision, who see it as a world of opportunity…
